LA MÚSICA En nuestras clases de inglés, en 7mo grado investigamos sobre la música de este siglo. Para nosotros Los Beatles produjeron un fuerte impacto en este tema. He aquí una síntesis de lo que averiguamos: The Beatles
is the most representative pop group of the century.
The story started with John Lennon, he began with the group, The Quarrymen. Later a friend, Paul Mc Cartney came to the group. And a few years later George Harrison added to
them. In these days they used the name:
Johnny and the Moondogs, and played in Liverpool. In
1960 they begun to play as The Beatles. Brian
Epstein, who had a record store, was their manager. He
discovered them in a Liverpool’s club, The Cavern. In 1962,
Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey) came to the group playing the drums. Their first single Love Me Do came out and was a
hit with Please, Please Me; She Loves You; From Me to
You. They did a tour in the whole country,
Sweden and France. After That they went to
USA and made a huge success. They did their
first movie: A Hard Day’s Night. In 1965 they
started their first tour around the world. Help
was their
second movie and the name of the new record, another great success. In 1967 they
made Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band, All You Need Is Love, Penny Lane,
Strawberry Fields For Ever. In 1968 they did
The white album and in 1969 Let it be. And in
